Meredith Music Festival 2011 has Sold Out after a high demand for online ticket sales this morning. It only took 30 mins to sell through the allocation of tickets.
Ballot sales ended on Tuesday, and store tickets sold out yesterday while people camped out overnight. Meredith staff were on hand throughout to make sure nobody lined up unnecessarily, to direct people to other stores and to hand out free coffee to people in each line.
The last of the tickets went online this morning, and were snapped up pretty quick. In Meredith’s 21-year history, it has sold out on all but two occasions.
Meredith’s sister festival, Golden Plains has announced its dates for its 2012 festival. Golden Plains Sixxx will take place on March 10-12, 2012. More details on that soon.
